vMac occurs as Macintosh Plus emulator for the Macintosh platform, Windows, BeOS, NeXT and other platforms. vMac intends to emulate a Macintosh + & the Apple Macintosh System it ran (Versions 1.1 to 7.Quint). vMac supports display output, healthy, floppy disk insert, display resolution changing and other. A vMac port for the Macintosh by Richard Bannister is discontinued and there is no hanker within development. A spin off Mini vMac is however existence maintained & developed.

vMac takes the Macintosh + ROM file and Macintosh system software package to function. Macintosh ROM files come owned by Apple Computer and cannot become distributed possibly by request Apple permission.
